Bella is a narrative and audio journalist. During graduate school, she interned for Vulture and New York Magazine as a writing intern. She wrote daily stories on internet culture, the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, and more. Bella also wrote a 5,000 word explainer on the Miranda Sings’ controversies, which was the top story on Vulture’s and NY Mag’s websites. She’s been a staff writer for publications, like DIG MAG, EdSource, The Daily Forty-Niner, Oakland North and Aspire Magazine. She’s also freelanced for The Oaklandside and Richmond Confidential.
